About Ask A Question

Ask A Question is a unique platform through which students from science and engineering colleges all over India can ask questions and faculty from IIT Bombay answers them. Students can ask questions either through an online forum or during an interactive live session, held every Thursday from 4:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M. Presently the Ask A Question sessions are going on for Electrical Engineering, but the facility will be extended to other subjects shortly.

Modes of participation

Through online forum

 

Students can post their conceptual questions or doubts in our online forum 24X7. Answers to these questions are made available in the same forum within one week.

Registration is not mandatory to post questions in the above forum

 

Through live sessions

 

Students can ask questions directly to faculty from IIT Bombay, during a live interactive session, held 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. To participate in the live session all you need is:

  • Internet Connection

  • Web-cam

  • Head-phone with a speaker and

  • A-View client

Important Note

 

The software solution used for interactive web conferencing, A-VIEW, is upgraded to version 1.5 on our server. We request all the existing A-VIEW remote centers to upgrade there client software toA-VIEW 1.5 version immediately for uninterrupted service. Registered users can log-in with their existing user id and password.
